If this can be done with ample clearance of not hitting the boat, you can use a straight tube model, if not then a formed center tube model is needed. (#4) Now determine if a straight line can be drawn from under the cavitation plate on the lower unit to the back roller / or under the back cross member were the mount bracket would be. Sounds like this might have been caused by repetetive stress, in which case just welding it might result in a short-lived repair. (#3) Choose between "Roller Mount" or "Frame Mount" models.
